Tyre is shown, right. His harness is not buckled in this photo, taken moments before the ride went into the air, unlike the other boys. It’s unclear if he did fasten it before the ride beganTyre Sampson, 14, died on Thursday night after falling from the ride in Orlando

A video circulating on social media platforms clearly demonstrates the operator’s irresponsibility. Because he was not correctly strapped up in his seat belt, a boy died, and the operator started the ride without checking the seat belts of all passengers. He slips from the seat when ride took off and after felling from height. It’s unclear if the operator performed a last check to ensure he was securely strapped before the trip began.

    THEME PARK UNDER INVESTIGATION:

The video received a lot of attention on Twitter. It is unclear if the harness was completely attached before to the ride’s departure or whether the operator double-checked to ensure the rider was securely restrained.

The park is now the subject of an inquiry. ‘It seems to be simply a tragic tragedy,’ Orange County Sheriff John Mina said during a news conference Friday. ‘We’ll see what happens in the future’

Prior to the journey, Tyre and his friends had been informed that there were no seatbelts. The only thing keeping them from tumbling out of their seats were the plastic, pull-down harnesses that are designed to buckle in between the riders’ legs instead of buckling them out.

    STATEMENTS ON INCIDENT OF ORLANDO:

As the trip plummeted, one passenger became concerned that they wouldn’t be able to latch onto a seatbelt anymore. The ride attendant said, “There are no seatbelts.”

Next, the ride rose into the air for around 10 seconds before plummeting to the ground. In front of the other passengers, the child slid out of his seat and crashed to the ground. When they landed, a separate park employee approached the ride attendant and said, ‘You didn’t check it!?’ on film.

‘Are you sure?’ she questioned him a second time.

Tyre’s relatives described him as a ‘gentle giant’ in tributes posted on social media.

In the words of Wendy, Tyre was “a respected gentle giant” who was “awesome.”

She told him, ‘You will be sincerely missed, son,’ saying he would be missed.

Employees at the park said that until they spotted the youngster laying on the ground, they assumed his corpse was a component of the ride that had broken off.

If he fell out of his harness, it’s not clear what the ride’s minimum height requirement is or how he may have gotten there.

According to the description on the attraction’s official site, StarFlyer has no age limit and no weight limit, and the minimum height required to go on the ride is just 44 inches.

The ride is made up of 24 double seats that travel up and down and around the giant tower for 3-4 minutes.
