Allama Khadim Rizvi of Tehreek e Labaik Pakistan ( TLP ) got released from jail Yesterday. He was detained for several months because of his anti-state and Anti-Army speeches a few months ago.
The issue was ignited after the Supreme Court given released to Asia Bibi ( A Christian woman who was told death sentence because of Blasphemy from Lahore high court in 2010 ). Blasphemy matter is very sensitive in Pakistan and it has a death penalty in the constitution. People also demand the death penalty for anyone involved in this act. Supreme Court released Asia Bibi on bases of not enough evidence and witnesses. But things got ignition after the Speeches of Allama Khadim Rizvi and other leaders of TLP. Road blockade, breaking and burning of vehicles spread across the country. To stop more violence and restore law and order, the Government decided to Arrest Khadim Rizvi and others. Thousands of TLP workersTLP workers were also arrested in crackdowns.
