Narowal: Ayesha Zulfiqar rape and murder incident shocked people of Pakistan once again. A 16 years old, 10th Grade Student Ayesha Zulfiqar allegedly raped and murdered and her dead body was thrown in suburbs of Narowal city. The dead body of Ayesha Zulfiqar was thrown in the fields near the Narowal city. The residents of the area discovered her dead body in the morning of September 14, 2019, and Informed the police immediately.
According to more details, Ayesha Zulfiqar daughter of Zulfiqar Ahmed was a student of grade 10 (Matriculation) in a girl’s high school of her village Nawa Pind Arayiaan-Hundal, near Pasrur city, District Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan. The Father of Ayesha Zulfiqar is a driver of a Pasrur based PTI’s (The Ruling party) politician Chaudhary Ghulam Abbas.
She was kidnapped on August 18, 2019, from near her school in village Nawa Pind Araiyaan-Hundal, Pasrur city, District Sialkot while returning back to home from her school. The accused Kidnapper Adnan Barkat was fully armed along his other friends during her kidnapping.
Father Zulfiqar, with the help of his employer, approached the Sialkot police station to recover their daughter. But police failed to find Ayesha Zulfiqar for a whole month.
Later on, during the period of Ayesha’s misplacement, the family approached the Lahore High Court to put more pressure on the police for efficient search of their daughter. Lahore high court ordered the police to find the Kidnapped girl as soon as possible.
Father of Ayesha Zulfiqar told to the reporters that During the month of her Disappearance, Ayesha made a call to her family and told them about her kidnapping. In her call to her family, She told her family that one of the kidnappers, Adnan Barkat who was accused in the First incident report as the murderer of Ayesha, is forcing her to marry him.
But upon her refusal, the Adnan Barkat is sexually abusing and torturing her. She was unable to identify the location where she was held.
Later on, her dead body was found on September 14, from Suburbs of Narowal city in the backyard of some houses. Police shifted the dead body of Ayesha Zulfiqar to the district hospital Sialkot for post marten and registered an FIR Against Adnan Barkat. However, he is on Pre-arrest bail from the court till October 3.
The accused murderer of Ayesha Zulfiqar, Adnan Barkat claims that he got married to her on September 7, 2019. He shared the signed statement of Ayesha Zulfiqar which she gave in front of Muhammad Farooq-e-Azam, a Magistrate in Sialkot.
PTI leader Chaudhary Ghulam Abbas has demanded the police to arrest the culprits involved in Ayesha Zulfiqar’s rape and murder. But the parents are still waiting to see accused being arrested.

Outrage after Ayesha Zulfiqar Raped and murdered.
After getting tired from police negligence, some family member of Ayesha posted the pictures on social media to get help by public support in order to seek justice for Ayesha. The news and the pictures of Ayesha Zulfiqar’s dead body became viral on social media and sparked anger in the public. Public demands to find the murderers of Ayesha and hang them. As this is not the first case of its type, the patience of the public is on its last limits.
Similarly, three kids (ageing between 8 to 10) were raped and murdered in Kasur city in the following month. In Larkana, a Hindu medical Student Dr Nimerta Chandani Kumari was also allegedly raped and murdered in the same month.
Social media users are showing grief and anger over rape and murder of Ayesha Zulfiqar. As she was kidnapped in Abaya (veil), Raped in Abaya and thrown in Abaya after her murder, so some people came up with a new argument. As Abaya and Hijab is a symbol of protection for Muslim girls in Pakistan, people are debating that it is not the veil but the devil nature of some men is the reason behind these type of incidents, as this Twitter use @ArooshPti asked the parents to teach their sons to be human.
This Twitter user @seraikislut came up with more harsh words and slams those who believe that a woman’s dressing plays a role in her assault. She was using Hashtag #justiceForAyesha to show her support for Ayesha Zulfiqar and seek justice for her.
Hundreds of other people came up with the hashtag #JusticeForAyesha and want to see justice in Ayesha Zulfiqar rape and murder case.
