A few hours ago, the Dragon Ball collaboration with Fortnite was made public. The game also got a tiny chair and an umbrella along with the Capsule. With everything set in stone, the crossover will start on August 16 without a hitch.
Even though the date has been set, no other details have been given. But the silhouettes of two characters can be seen on an official poster for the collaboration, which seems to be a leak. Goku and Vegeta are the names of these two people.

Even though a silhouette doesn’t tell you much about a person, the shape of the character’s outline does. Fans who look closely say that the silhouettes on the poster look like the models of the characters from Dragon Ball Super.
This may seem a good guess, but it’s not even close. The movie is coming out on August 26. Having characters in Fortnite that look like they came from the same movie is a great way to get free advertising. It also makes sure that the whole franchise works well together.
Back to the art style, fans don’t have much to say about it. They have chosen not to talk because they can’t see the result.

Dragon Ball has already set a record on Twitter for Fortnite.
Even though we announced the collaboration a few hours ago, the number of likes on the post has already passed the number of likes on the Naruto teaser tweet. The Naruto post got 250.8K likes, but the Dragon Ball post has already gotten 262.9K likes and counting.
Fans are excited about the collaboration, as they should be. Naruto has been a big deal in anime, but Dragon Ball maybe even bigger. Since the first manga came out in 1984, it has had a wide range of fans from many different generations.
The developers also see a lot of business potential because more and more people are asking for Goku in Fortnite. Like the Naruto collaboration, this one will likely happen in two parts. The first one will start in August of this year, and the second one might happen in the first half of 2023.
With Dragon Ball, Epic Games has found a “gold mine” because there are so many characters to choose from. Because of how the game is made, not every important character can be added as an outfit. However, they can still be added as something else.
After everything is said and done, the Dragon Ball collaboration will likely break some records in the Item Shop of Fortnite. We can only expect good things from what has been said about the crossover.
