Chapter 4 of Season 1 was the first time that Fortnite had augmentations. As of the v23.10 update, there are 22 of them in the game, and more will come later.
Augments are powerful because they give players special buffs that last as long as the match. These buffs can help them get better at fighting and make them hard to beat on the battlefield. There are nine Augments that have to do with fighting, but only five stand out as great in-game.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has the Tactical Armory and 4 other Augments that will give players an edge in battle.

5) Expert with a bow
In-game, arrows move at a fantastic speed. Players only have a few hundredths of a second to act when an arrow is shot until it hits something.
Skilled archers can use their bows to get an unbeatable advantage in battle. With the Bow Specialist Augment, players can use the bow’s power in the game even more.
This perk is beneficial because it makes bows draw and reload faster. This means players won’t have to spend much time getting ready to shoot. The Augment also lets arrows in the player’s inventory come back to life over time.
4) Bombs for demolition
Demolitions Munitions is a great Augment for players who like to use explosives in-game. There is a chance that an object that is destroyed will drop explosives. This includes grenades and ammunition for rockets.
Since the Snowball Launcher has been added to the Winterfest 2022 loot pool, players can use this Augment by ensuring they have plenty of ammo. Even though the party won’t last forever, the Augment will still be helpful once the Rocket Launcher is added to the game.
3) First Assault
The First Assault Augment is a strong buff that can be used anytime during the game. When you choose it, the first bullet fired from any Assault Rifle weapon does more damage than usual (like the Prime Shotgun).
Players can use this boost again and again by reloading their magazines. Even though it’s tedious, players can use the extra damage to their advantage in close and mid-range fights.
2) Archer with a machine
The Mechanical Archer Augment is the best choice for players who like the thrill of the hunt or want to remember Chapter 2, Season 6. When you click on it, an Explosive and Shockwave Bow will show up in your inventory or on the ground if you don’t have two empty slots.
This Augment is excellent because it makes it easier for players to find these two types of bows in-game. It makes it easier to find them and gives players more time to look for arrows and other valuable items.
1) The Tactical Armory
Tactical Armory is the best of all the Augments players can use in Chapter 4, Season 1 (v23.10). When chosen, a Rare Tactical AR and a Combat Shotgun appear in the player’s inventory (if there’s room) or on the ground next to them.
Even though these weapons might not be the best in the loot pool, gold bars can improve them. This Augment is very useful early in the game because it lets you fight from both mid-range and close range. The only bad thing about it is that it is so rare that only a few players can get it.
