Bob Saget’s cause of death, Twitter activity, life, and career: Bob Saget entered American homes through popular TV shows over the last few decades. On Sunday evening, Americans learned the comedian and actor had been found dead in a Florida hotel room. Saget was 65.
Bob Saget Cause of Death
The Full House star, Bob Saget, was found dead in an Orlando hotel. Police are still investigating the cause of death, but suspect no foul play so far.
Police said there were no signs that foul play or drugs were involved in his death.
“Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room,” the Orange County Sheriff’s office said in a tweet.
“The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case,” the statement added.
The cause of death is currently under investigation. The sheriff’s office stated a Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
Bob Saget is survived by his wife Kelly Rizzo and three children.
He performed at a show in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday night.

Bob Saget Twitter Activity Before his Sudden death
Bob Saget was well, healthy and he was active on Twitter hours before his death.
Just hours before his death on Sunday, he tweeted his appreciation for the audience, along with a photo of himself at the venue.
“Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this shit. Check https://t.co/nqJyTiiezU for my dates in 2022,” Bob Saget wrote in his very last tweet on January 9, 2022.
The comedian had only just begun his 2022 tour “doing an all new show of standup and music,” and his next gig was scheduled for later this month in West Palm Beach, Florida.

In his very first Twitter post of 2022, Bob Saget shared a short video clip from his show in which B.J. Novak was sharing their moments from the past.
In the description of the video clip, Bob wrote: “Another fun clip from Today’s New Ep with my friend @bjnovak – He tells a story from 20 years ago when he opened for me in Vegas. Today he’s an incredible writer, actor & director. Loved this conversation so much. https://t.co/v9Saahzr6D @allthingscomedy.”
Saget was best known for his lead role in the popular “Full House” sitcom where he played Danny Tanner, a widowed father raising three girls with the help of his brother-in-law Jesse and friend Joey.
The show ran for eight seasons, from 1987-1995, on ABC, and followed by a Netflix sequel focusing on one of Danny’s daughters, DJ Tanner, which ran from 2016-2020.
Saget was also the long-time host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” from 1989 to 1997.
“Bob Saget was a beloved and boundary-pushing comedian. He’ll be missed,” US network Comedy Central said in a tweet.
B.J. Novak said: “I have always and will always love Bob Saget.”
“Until I find out my friend Bob Saget’s cause of death, I’m just gonna assume irritable bowel syndrome.
