A Mississippi woman, Denise Frazier, arrested for posting a video if her along with her dog. The video was filmed in an unnatural way and she has been charged for the act.
Denise Nicole Frazier, 19, was charged with unnatural act and aggravated cruelty to an animal, WDAM reported.
In her statement, She said people pay to her for filming such acts and she sells the dog videos on Snapchat.
An arrest warrant was issued after authorities investigated Frazier’s Jones County residence.
The Jones County Sheriff’s Department says it was tipped off to the incident by a ‘concerned resident’ who apparently saw the video involving a male dog.
According to an arrest affidavit cited by The Laurell Leader-Call, two dogs were seized from the property and taken by Deputy Regina Newton to Sawmill Animal Hospital in Laurel. One of the dogs was identified as a German shepherd whom Denise Frazier referred to as ‘a service dog,’ investigators said.
The German Shepherd dog appeared in a video with Frazier that was posted on the social-media app SnapChat, according to the affidavit.
‘Frazier admitted she was the one in the video but stated she was forced to do it,’ according to the affidavit.
‘There is no evidence of that claim, but we are investigating it,’ JCSD Investigator Sgt. J.D. Carter who is leading the investigation said.
Frazier at the time of her arrest told detectives, ‘people pay me’ to make the videos.
Frazier remains held at the Jones County Adult Detention Facility pending a court appearance on Thursday.
A conviction for such unnatural act carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
