Also, this season’s most exciting thing for players has been the game’s new mechanics and the addition of the Zero Build mode. The battle between the Imagined Order and The Seven has been going on for a long time. However, it may soon end with one side taking over the other.
Loopers saw The Device (called IO Collider) from Chapter 2 come back in the last update of the season, v20.40, last week, but with a new look. The Seven have taken back all of their land from the Imagined Order, but they are still trying to figure out what this huge machine is for on the island.

Fortnite used the new Resistance quests that were given to loopers earlier this week to hint at what would happen during the live event. The quests told loopers to set up a generator in a secret room in Covert Cavern. Fortnite hints that the map will be destroyed. This room can be reached by climbing down a vent.
When the loopers turned on the generator, they were told to put two keys on the huge Holo-Table in the middle of the room. This table shows the plan that Imagined Order has for the live event. As the keys are put in, the IO’s Collider machine seems to release a burst of energy from its base, pulling the Zero Point toward it.
The Zero Point would then be too full of energy from the collider, which would cause a huge explosion that would destroy the whole map. But The Seven know what the IO is up to and are getting ready to protect their flipped island and all the loopers who live there. There is still talk about whether or not the loopers will move to a new map next season.

This week, the official Twitter account for Fortnite posted a video that showed new skins that loopers will be able to wear during The Resistance live event. Even though this season has been crazy and exciting for players so far, Epic is looking forward to putting on quite a show as it nears the end of one of its most successful seasons.
But players have started calling these suits “new Mecha Bundle skins” because they think the developers will add them to the Item Shop at some point. Also, it’s clear from looking at the suits that these cosmetics can be changed a lot in terms of colour, helmet pattern, and insignias that players can put on while landing on the island.
As rumors about the live event get closer, players are already working hard to get to level 200 so they can unlock bonus Battle Pass rewards before the season ends next week. It’s interesting that Fortnite creative map builders are making XP glitch maps again to help players level up faster.
