Elon Musk’s announced plan to “do away with permanent bans” on Twitter could be the cause for Andrew Tate’s return to the platform.

Rumors regarding the overturning of lifetime Twitter bans have been swirling since October following the publication of an exclusive Bloomberg report.

According to the article, Elon Musk intends to give customers who have been banned indefinitely another chance. It said:

“Musk also aims to do away with permanent user bans since he does not believe in everlasting prohibitions, according to the source. This means those previously kicked off the platform may be permitted to return.” In response to a Twitter user who complained about being shadowbanned, ghost banned, search banned, and having followers erased. Musk stated in a tweet on Friday that he would investigate.

The reason behind the banning of Andrew Tate

For those unaware, Andrew Tate was heavily criticized earlier this year. His account was banned from many social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, for making offensive remarks about women deemed “hypermasculine” and “toxic.”

However, in 2017, Twitter was the first big platform to ban the former kickboxer. After opposing the #MeToo movement, the internet personality, who was reasonably well-known then, was banned from the network.

While he agreed that “r*pe” perpetrators are the primary culprits, he also stated that women should be held accountable for putting themselves in dangerous circumstances.

Has he expressed his opposition to the ban?

Andrew Tate has issued a mysterious tweet since being unbanned, which has received over 73k likes and 10k retweets. His Twitter account, @Cobratate, shared a photo with the caption:

“Mastery is a strange thing. On a long enough period, it’s almost as if losing isn’t an option. Wudan operates in this

Tate has yet to acquire a “blue tick.” It remains to be seen whether he will also be unbanned from other social media networks.
