It appears that Xbox and PlayStation users will soon be able to obtain additional Fortnite cosmetics exclusive to their platforms.

There have been a number of platform-specific cosmetics in Fortnite over the years. The Galaxy skin, for example, was only available to gamers who purchased a new Galaxy phone from the official Samsung online store. Nintendo Switch consoles have been sold with bundles that were exclusive to the console they came in. Xbox and PlayStation users both had exclusive cosmetics.
Unfortunately, there are some skins that are only available on a single platform. One such skin is Galaxy, which is one of the best in the game. Conversely, many gamers take great pride in their console of choice, so an exclusive cosmetic can be a fun way to show off their individuality.

Exclusive Fortnite cosmetics HYPEX HYPEX may be coming to Xbox and PlayStation gamers:

Xbox and PlayStation gamers may soon be getting a new weapon wrap, according to a new leak. It was discovered that the game’s files contained two brand-new wraps, each bearing a different codename. These signs imply that the two consoles will be able to use their brand-new, exclusive skins when they launch next year.
HYPEX, a well-known leaker in the Fortnite community, is the source of the leak. One wrap can be obtained through “PlayStation Activation,” which is likely to mean that once an account loads up Fortnite, the wrap will be unlocked.

It appears that Xbox and PlayStation users will soon be able to obtain additional Fortnite cosmetics exclusive to their platforms.

The item’s codename, “XboxHW,” doesn’t give much away about the activation process. The likelihood is that it will be activated in a manner similar to that described herein.

If these wraps do end up in the Item Shop, it’s the first time a console-exclusive item has done so. Because it was never available in the Item Shop, the Galaxy Fortnite skin is astronomically expensive (at par with the price of the device).

Both of these wraps are excellent, but the Xbox one appears to be more popular with gamers. The Gilded Hunter set also includes this item. The PlayStation skin is a stand-alone accessory, not a part of a larger set.

There is no set date for the release of these cosmetics at this time. As the v20.30 update that was released today added them to the game files, it’s possible that they’ve been there for some time.

It’s important to remember that this is a leak, so don’t take it at face value. If they do show up, this information is only speculative until they do or Epic Games confirms their existence.
