Fortnite Crash Pads Guide

Crash Pads might be some of the most unusual items that can be used in Fortnite. After the v12.30 update, they were added to the game in Chapter 2, Season 2. When it comes to avoiding damage from falling, these items are the best in the game. They can be used to keep from dying when falling from a high place.

Even though they get tossed out a lot, every once in a while they come back. The last time they were in the game was when the Kymera attacked at the beginning of Chapter 2 Season 7. After the end-of-season live event, they were finally taken away.

Chapter 3 Season 3 brings them back because of the No Sweat Summer party. To celebrate the return of this item, Epic Games is giving players a challenge: jump on three different Crash Pads without touching the ground. Those who manage to finish the task will get 15,000 XP as a reward.

The first way is to get Crash Pads.

At first glance, this method seems easy to do, but it’s not. Even though Crash Pads are only a Rare rarity, they are very hard to find. Players will probably find Mythic weapons before they find Crash Pads.

Still, if a player finds three Crash Pads, they will have to set them up close to each other. Then they have to jump from one to another without touching the ground. It would be best to put it on a flat surface.

Might Monument Crash Pads is the second way.

In honor of No Sweat Summer, the developers have added a large floating POI and some Crash Pads next to the Mighty Monument. If players are able to fight and take control of the area, they can finish the challenge by using the Crash Pads in the water.

Even though the Crash Pads are far apart, players should have no trouble getting from one to the next. If you land in the middle of the Crash Pads after each jump, you won’t miss the landing or fall off the edge into the water as often.

Tips to remember when trying to bounce off Crash Pads in Fortnite Chapter 3

The most important thing for players to keep in mind when using Crash Pads is their sense of direction. Because they are thrown so high into the air, it can be hard to tell which way is which. Because they don’t know where they’re going, they might not land where they meant to.

Never fighting an opponent while using a Crash Pad is another important thing to remember. If their opponent gets close enough, they can pull out their shotgun and hurt them while they’re in the air. Even if the shot doesn’t kill, it will put the players in a very bad position.
