Following the short hiatus taken by the staff at Epic Games, the highly anticipated Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover will be available to players. Collaborative skins, events, and weaponry will not be available to players until a few days later. Until then, there have been enough leaks for players to piece together the whole story.

The second big anime franchise to be featured in the game is Dragon Ball Z. The two prior Naruto crossovers have proven to be very popular with players. Epic Games hopes that the Goku and Vegeta skins will be as popular as the previous ones. In addition to the skins, a month-long event and mythological weaponry will be made available to gamers.

The Dragon Ball update brings more than just fan-favorite cosmetics. An accompanying set of quests, expected to roll out over seven weeks, is also in the works from the designers this time around.

Within the game’s data are several encrypted challenges. These files point to punchcards being ready about when the update is released, which is about seven weeks from now. Free cosmetics and other items are up for grabs if you complete these challenges.

The Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z crossover event will also feature other upcoming content that fans won’t want to miss.

The impending Dragon Ball Z crossover appears to be the most significant anime-themed event in the game, according to leaks. The crossover will be commemorated with a point of interest on the island, but it won’t be as massive as the entire Marvel-themed season. Even more, Mythic NPC bosses will drop Mythic weapons based on the anime.

For both the Battle Royale and the Creative modes, players can expect to see vehicles and powerups inspired by Dragon Ball. The impending update will have more than enough material to keep users occupied until October, despite the sluggish season.
