Fortnite x Stranger Things collab – But isn’t confirmed yet

After the latest tease, Fortnite and Stranger Things collaboration is on the way. A few strange things about The Creative Hub remind me of the show.

Epic Games is used to working with other people familiar with Stranger Things. Over the years, they’ve been able to work with brands that no one would expect a video game to be able to do.

Fortnite x Stranger Things collab all but confirmed after new teaser

They have made deals with Balenciaga, Ferrari, the NBA, and many other companies. At this point, it’s not unusual for them to work with anyone they want. They often go back to work for brands they already know. Since the two brands have worked together so often, most Marvel movies and shows have a skin or some collaboration.

Even Stranger Things is like this. So, could this be the third time they’ve worked together? It looks like that’s the case.

A new creative hub hints at the third collaboration between Fortnite and Stranger Things

Players who have seen the fourth season of Netflix’s hit sci-fi show will recognize much of what they see in Creative mode. The Upside Down from the show looks like the Creative hub, and a few key details make the connection even clearer. When players spawn, they will see a big, scary house in front of them.

It looks a lot like the Creel house, where most of the show’s last episode of the fourth season took place. It’s a place where a lot of the main characters get together to try to save the world.

Grandfather clocks became a big part of the season as a whole. Fans might have also seen one on the front of the Fortnite Creative hub’s new house.

Inside, there is a reference that is even more obvious. Joyce Byers puts up Christmas lights with letters on them in the show’s first season to try to talk to someone she can’t see.

The same wall of lights is inside the house in Fortnite.

When you add that to the red glow outside the house and the fact that it looks a lot like the Upside Down, it’s clear that Epic Games is at least hinting at Stranger Things.

Because the show is about scary things, it makes sense for them to work together on Fortnitemares. But in a few days, the event will be over so it might be too late.

In either case, this wouldn’t be the first time they’ve met, so a third round seems likely, given their past. Fortnite Chapter 1 of Season 9 showed us Chief Hopper and the Demogorgon for the first time.

In Chapter 2, Season 8, they added a new dimension to the game called the Sideways, a play on the Upside Down. Some special weapons and monsters looked like the ones in the Upside Down but were made of cubes.
