A video emerged on social media and caused unrest among the Public. The viral video shows an interview of a girl who was imprisoned for 25 Years over false allegations (according to the girl) of Kidnapping. Watch the video, below.
The interview was conducted by a Private news channel in a jail where the girl was held for punishment. The girl claims that she is imprisoned for a crime she never committed.
According to details (shared by the girl), she was living in a house on rent. The landlord of the house brought a kid “suspected kidnapped child” in his home (the landlord was also residing in the same house on the ground floor).
At the next day, police raided the house and arrested the girl over allegations pf kidnapping the child. The landlord was escaped from the scene and refused any involvement in the kidnapping later on during the police investigation.
According to the constitution of Pakistan, the punishment for kidnapping a child (if proved) is seven years. But the girl was imprisoned for 25 years.
People are sharing the video of the girl on social media and condemning the justice system of Pakistan. Because this is not a rare case.
