Haunted House Fortnite – Spooktober is here, and every day Fortnite gets scarier. People like the game because it has always been focused on Halloween and scary things. This goes beyond the annual Fortnitemares and creepy cosmetic items. Now that there is a haunted house on the island, loopers are drawn to it.
With the Fortnite update v22.10, there have been a lot of changes. Chrome has spread to many different parts of the map, and many famous landmarks have taken to the air. As part of the update, Shifty Shaft got a makeover and is now called Grim Gables, which is a good sign for Halloween.
The most important building in the new POI is the haunted house, which is in Grim Gables. The new thing says that it’s Spooktober and that Fortnite is getting ready for its annual big show. Epic Games has made it almost a tradition to add scary POIs in the month of October.

The new haunted house in Fortnite gives the game a creepy feel.
Grim Gables is in the middle of the map, but it is a little to the north. The new POI is easy to get to and is right next to Loot Lake. It is between Logjam Junction and Sleepy Sound. But there is no way to get to Grim Gables by car. The floating airship is the best way to find it.
The POI is right next to the airship, and the scary house is in the middle of it. The haunted house is scary and has an eerie feel to it. It is on top of a hill. A lot of the windows are boarded up, and the area is a bit run-down. Everything on the site makes me feel like I’m being led on a strange adventure.
The area around the outhouse is messy and full of vines. A grave marks the edge of the outhouse. Just to the north of the haunted house is a cornfield maze where a scarecrow is still standing. Even worse is the inside of the house. Many doors are boarded up, and there is a feeling of danger in the air.
The people who worked on this did a great job. The new addition is definitely creepy and goes well with the upcoming Fortnitemares 2022 event. The haunted house has also sparked rumors about a possible future collaboration, which has got a lot of people excited.

More than just a spooky house
Players have found an old item inside the house that they think is a sign of an upcoming collaboration with Stranger Things. They found a grandfather clock in the haunted house, and many of the players say it looks like Venca’s clock (the antagonist from the franchise). The fact that the clock’s hands are in the wrong place backs up this claim.
The popular fantasy show Stranger Things is about a world that is turned upside down. In the past, the franchise and Epic Games have worked well together. Since then, players have been waiting for yet another crossover to happen. Netflix has since lost its IP license, which is a shame.
Given that Stranger Things is popular and has a scary theme, a collaboration around Halloween could start a new era for the game. Players are also looking forward to a meeting between Freddy Kruger and Ghostface.
