Open the cabinet and the RAM slots:

Turn off your computer, unplug all of its cables, and open the side panel. Open the slots next to where the CPU is put in. On each side of each slot, there will be a clip that needs to be pressed down to open.

To make sure you put them in the right places, put each stick in a slot of the same color, which should be every other slot. This will show that they are set up in dual-channel mode. Dual-channel mode significantly outperforms a single-channel setup in terms of performance.

• Put the sticks in a line.

Once the right slots are open, line up the stick with the space between the connector and the slot that can only be put in one way.

• Put the sticks in.

Put force on the stick, but don’t worry about breaking anything because this will take a lot of force. Press harder until you hear a satisfying click. Check both sides of the stick to be sure, and then cut the stick down.

Close the door and turn on the computer. Once the sticks are in, you can close the side panel and plug in all the cables. Start the computer up and go to BIOS mode to see if the memory you just added is working. The total amount of memory on your PC should now be shown in the system description.

Lastly, you can keep loading your Operating System and enjoy the better performance.
