Jeff Wittek spent some time in jail for dealing and possession of drugs

However, Jeff stayed strong, and he made it out. Jeff revealed in the Skotcast episode that he used humor to get by during the tough times. He said:
“I’ve had a lot of hard life lessons that I’ve learned, and I had to find a way to get through ‘em. So, I’ve definitely used humor as kind of a vice to not be so hard on myself at times… I just fucking got arrested a couple of times for selling weed before it was legalized…”
