Kyrie Irving Twitter – Kyrie Irving Went On A Rant Explored

    Published on

Most people projected that Boston would be displaced as a strong contender in the Eastern Conference by Brooklyn when Kyrie Irving left the Celtics in NBA free agency three years ago to pair up with Kevin Durant on the Nets.

After sweeping the Nets out of the first round of the playoffs in dominant fashion in 2022, the Celtics appear to have a brighter future than the Nets.

Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets were just eliminated from the NBA Playoffs in the first round. It’s possible you’ve heard about it. Kyrie Irving knows this because he came to Twitter this morning to whine about the media, whose job it is to “manage public opinion.”

Irving later explained that he was targeting puppet masters, although he appeared to be referring to the media as puppets.

Kyrie is clearly going for shows on large networks like ESPN and Fox Sports, and he’s focusing on the “masters” rather than the “puppets.”

The rant drew the attention of a few commentators, including the big kahuna himself, Stephen A. Smith, who called Irving out on First Take Thursday, warning him that he’d be in serious trouble come Friday.

    Who Is Kyrie Irving?

Born in 1992 in Melbourne, Australia, Kyrie Irving became a high school basketball star in New Jersey before briefly playing for Duke University. He was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the No. 1 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, and in 2016, he teamed with LeBron James to give the Cavaliers their first championship in franchise history. After six years in Cleveland, Irving moved on to the Boston Celtics in 2017 and then the Brooklyn Nets in 2019.
