A few days ago, a video became Viral on Social media. In the video some girls from Jamshoro University Sindh, sitting with fellow male students and doing indecent things.

In the video you can see, girls smoking with fellow students. For some (Liberal mentality) people this thing doesn’t matter too much. But the majority of Pakistani people mind this a lot as a matter of ethics.
It is fact that this is a very tiny example of what is happening inside universities. There are a lot bigger and bad things also happening. But we can’t post or even talk about them because of shame. This small example is very enough to convey the message.
As a Muslim, we all know that our Religion, culture and traditions take this kind of acts in vert wrong manners. And yes it is.
A country where in many areas, girls are not allowed to study after primary education. These girls are lucky that their parents open their thoughts, and allow them to study for higher education.
Parents have trust on their daughters and they do everything to pay for their feeses. It is possible that they belong from a middle-class family where people have to work very hard to educate their kids.
Whatever is their class, but no parents will expect that a girl they sent for the study is doing such type of things.
It is not only the loss of their hopes but name and respect also.
In most of the areas of Sindh, people kill their girls on a little scandal of a girl if it is bringing shame to them. Specifically, in those circumstances, these girls should be more thankful to their parents.
The point is that we, the parents will have to protect our girls by ourselves. We will have to teach them to stay in those limits, which can guarantee their respect, name and good feature.
This is the lesson which we should give them from childhood until their young age. Because it is not possible to supervise our kids (specifical girls) all the time inside colleges or universities.
Most of us use to say “society is bad”. But the fact is that nothing is bad if we are on the right path. Because we are the one who makes this society.
Parents should keep giving these lessons of life to their kids (male/female). Because this is the only way we build their personality gradually.
Many of us work day and night for only giving good education to our kids. But in this hard-working life, if we are forgetting to teach them the manners of life, then our all hard work is getting wasted.
Formal educational institutions can give them a degree or formal education. But they will not care about their personality building. It is our own responsibility to build their personality and make them a good, respectful citizen.
May ALLAH save us and our kids from every wrong thing.
