    Woman charged after explicit video filmed in Liverpool’s Concert Square

    A WOMAN, Kelly Cousins, who became viral by Liverpool Concert Square video, has been charged after a video went viral on social media of two people having sex in Concert Square in Liverpool City Centre.

    Kelly Cousins, 35, of Merton Street, Bootle, has been questioned by police and charged with outraging public decency. 

    She was bailed with conditions not to enter Liverpool City Centre and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 20 at 1.45pm. 

    Enquiries remain ongoing to identify the male in the video and anyone with any further information is asked to get in touch. 

    Liverpool Community Policing Superintendent Diane Pownall said: “We are investigating video footage circulating on social media which shows two people having sex in a public place in Liverpool City Centre. 

    “We would urge people to refrain from sharing the video on social media and instead report anything they know about the video, or those involved, to us so that we can investigate.  

    “Merseyside Police will not tolerate illegal acts of public indecency on our streets and, rest assured, we are working to find those responsible and bring them to justice.

    “All year round we work tirelessly with local businesses, Liverpool City Council and other partners to make sure that our City Centre is a safe place for people to come and visit and experience our nightlife.

    “We are clear that we won’t let such unacceptable behaviour from a small minority of people tarnish the reputation of our city, so please, come forward with any information and we will take action.
