Players from both teams were spotted fighting in the corridor between the two locker rooms following Michigan’s 29-7 victory over Michigan State on Saturday. Ja’Den McBurrows, a defensive back for Michigan, was surrounded by Spartans as they exited the field, and they repeatedly shoved and hit him.
Three Spartans players were present: defensive end Zion Yong, linebacker Itayvion Brown, and safety Angelo Grose.
The entire fight lasted less than thirty seconds. It appears like McBurrows is unharmed as he is seen walking away.
According to Harbaugh, one of Michigan’s players may have broken his nose in the game.

After a heated rivalry game, there was another fight in the tunnel at Michigan Stadium. On Saturday, after Michigan beat Michigan State 29–7, players from both teams were seen fighting in the tunnel that leads to their locker rooms.
As Michigan State players left the field, Michigan defensive back Ja’Den McBurrows was in the middle of a group of Spartans who repeatedly hit and shoved him.
Some of the Spartans players who were there were defensive end Zion Yong, linebacker Itayvion Brown, and safety Angelo Grose.
Less than 30 seconds passed during the fight. McBurrows is seen walking away, and it looks like he’s not hurt.

The incident is being “looked into” by police and Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren, according to Michigan’s athletic director Warde Manuel. It’s “totally and utterly unacceptable,” he said.
Mel Tucker, head coach of Michigan State, claimed he had no idea what had happened.
It was a heated game, Tucker said. We were attempting to herd our players towards the changing area. We’ll have to investigate what went wrong.
Multiple fights between teams have happened in the tunnel at Michigan Stadium. This season, a fight between Michigan and Penn State players prompted Penn State’s coach, James Franklin, to ask that the tunnel’s rules be changed.
