He is a former member of provincial assembly (MPA) of Khayber PakhtunKhuwa and a leader of Jamiat Ulma-i-Islam (JUI-F). Mufti Kifayatullah was arrested before also in December 2018, for his provocative speeches in Taxila, Pakistan.
Political ground is hot these days in Pakistan as Maulan Fazal ur Rehman (head of JUI-F) is preparing to held a protest (so called Azadi-march) against Imran Khan’s government.
