Mystique skin Fortnite – It is pay-to-win and a new invisibility glitch proves it

Since Chapter 2, Season 4’s Battle Pass added the Mystique skin to Fortnite, players have found creative ways to use her Shapeshifter Built-In Emote. It works because players can change into the last enemy they beat. Some people have called it a “pay-to-win” cosmetic because of this.

People who own the skin have pulled off 200 IQ plays by acting like NPCs on the island. Even if it doesn’t work every time, you should try anything to get the upper hand in a fight. However, with the new Chrome mechanics, Mystique can do more than change her shape. She can also become invisible.

Here’s how to use Mystique and Chrome Splash to become invisible in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4

    • Enter a match and use Mystique’s Shapeshifter Built-In Emote (it has to be a male skin). Next. Use Chrome Splash and change into a Blob.
    • Once done, the shapeshifting skin and Chrome effect will be lost
    • If done correctly, the character will not be visible to enemy players

Keep in mind that this bug only affects people who play on consoles. Still, if they do it right, it will give them an advantage in battle and every other part of the game.

Even though it also works for PC players, it is a glitch. To explain, the character’s shoulders will be the only thing that won’t work right. It will look like it doesn’t belong. It’s unclear why this is happening, but it seems like a bug in how Fortnite draws things.

Is it safe to use the Mystique skin with the new Chrome bug that makes you invisible?

Since it’s a bug or glitch in the game, using the new Chrome invisibility glitch with the Mystique skin should be fine. However, it’s not the best choice because it gives players an unfair advantage. If more than one user reports a player using this, Epic Games will take action and may ban or suspend the account.

This decision can be argued, but whether Epic Games will overturn the ban or suspension is unclear. Still, it’s likely to be short-term. Still, it’s best not to use it in a live match and only on Creative private maps with friends. It’s better to play it safe than to get hurt.

Will this bug be fixed in the next Fortnite update, v22.20, from Epic Games?

Since the glitch was just found, it’s unlikely that the developers will be able to fix the problem in a few hours. Since the glitch involves cosmetics and in-game items/mechanics, it’s not that simple.

Also, the update for Fortnitemares 2022 is coming out on October 18, so the developers are probably busy making one last check of the files. This makes it impossible to dig deeper into the newly found bug.

Most likely, Epic Games will disable Mystique’s Built-In Emote for Shapeshifter until a fix can be made. Even though this would be unfair to the people who own the skin and want to use it in-game, it’s for the good of the community as a whole. Since developers can’t turn off Chrome Splashes, this is the best solution they can come up with.
