What is Euphoria?

Euphoria is an HBO show centered around high school students and their dealing with sex, drugs, friendships, love, identity, and trauma.

It is loosely based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name.

The series received nominations for the British Academy Television Award for Best International Programme and the TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Drama.

So far, there has only been one season of Euphoria on HBO.

There is no official release date regarding season two.

It was originally set to air this year but because of the coronavirus pandemic, plans were halted.

However, Zendaya, who plays Rue Bennett revealed on Jimmy Kimmel’s show in August that there may be a “bridge episode” to hold fans over while official filming for the second season starts.

“We’re trying to figure out how to eventually be able to create a season two that we’re all really proud of and get all the best out of it that we want but also still being very safe.

“So, we might end up doing a little bridge episode.

“I don’t really know how to describe it, but an episode that we can do with a limited amount of people in a safer environment that can, I don’t know, give people something,” Zendaya said.
