In a swift rescue operation, Pakistan Army saved 22 students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) that stuck in snowfall in Rattu area of Gilgit-Baltistan. All the students went for skiing in Gilgit-Baltistan but were stranded in heavy snow for the last five days.
LUMS administration had approached Pakistan Army for help. Cheif of Army Staff (COAS) directed for their immediate heli lifting. All 22 students including 13 boys and 9 girls were rescued by Army and they have reached Rawalpindi.
