Popular Fortnite 0G weapons returns but this time with a new twist courtesy of Epic Games

With the release of Chapter 3, all of the OG weapons in Fortnite were taken out of the game. Even though it has many great features, like a new map, many people still miss the weapons from the first chapter.

The Legendary Assault Rifle, or SCAR, used to be one of the most famous weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale. The Pump Shotgun, the Tactical Shotgun, and a few other weapons were vaulted at the beginning of the chapter.

Epic Games has made many changes to the loot pool and tried eliminating the original weapons in Fortnite. Some of the new ones were good, but most were just bad and could hardly be used.

Chapter 3 of Season 4 brings back Fortnite’s first weapon.

One of the most used Fortnite OG weapons is the Tactical Shotgun. It came out with the very first version of the game, and casual players loved how fast it could shoot.

When the game came out for the first time, there were only two kinds of shotguns. Most skilled players used the Pump Shotgun, which could kill enemies with a single shot, while casual players used the Tactical Shotgun because they liked how fast it fired.

When Chapter 3, Season 4 came out, Epic Games brought back the Tactical Shotgun. The first weapon in Fortnite is back, but it has a new name and 3D model.

Epic put out the gun on September 18 under the name “EvoChrome Shotgun.” It turns out that the new shotgun is just like its tactical predecessor in terms of its stats.

Shortly before the new season of Fortnite came out, there were a lot of rumors that “The Tac” would be brought back. This turned out to be true, but Epic Games took it differently.

Here’s a full look at the differences between the two Legendary (Gold) shotguns:

    StatEvoChrome ShotgunTactical Shotgun
    Damage9494
    Fire Rate1.51.5
    Magazine Size88
    Reload Time5.135.13

In raw stats, the EvoChrome Shotgun is the same as the Tactical Shotgun. The only difference is how far apart the bullets are and how the crosshairs are made.

Even more interesting is that the stats are the same for every other rarity. For example, both Rare (Blue) shotguns do 85 damage and take 5.7 seconds to reload.

    The EvoChrome Shotgun is amazing

The EvoChrome Shotgun might never be as popular as its predecessor in Fortnite OG, but it’s still a great gun. It’s very dangerous up close, and players don’t have to worry about improving it.

One thing that makes EvoChrome weapons unique is that they can improve themselves. For this to work, players need to hurt enemies with these weapons.

You can find the EvoChrome Shotgun on the floor and in Chrome Chests. Players can easily level it up by damaging opponents who have been knocked down, animals, and even NPCs. Chapter 3 Season 4: The new shotgun can reach the Mythic rarity, which makes it very valuable.
