Ground treasure, chests, and supply boxes are all common places to find the Prime Shotgun. It is available in a variety of rarities, including Common (79 DPS), Uncommon (83 DPS), Rare (138 DPS), Epic (146 DPS), and Legendary (151 DPS). Breaking open Mythic reality sapling fruits will get you a rare Mythic (159 DPS) variant.
No matter how rare your Prime Shotgun is. It will always have a rate of fire of 1.05 and a reload time of 4.5 seconds. Even though the gun only has four shots per magazine. It has a unique feature that makes the first shot do more damage when the magazine is full.
Because your first shot does more damage, using the Prime Shotgun requires a bit of strategy. You have to decide if you have time to reload that shot to get the extra damage again, or if you should just keep firing in the hopes that your last three shells will kill your opponents. If you want to go for the former and do the most damage per shot, you can get some space by using cover a lot. However, since each shot does good damage overall, this isn’t usually necessary.

Is it good to use the Prime Shotgun in Fortnite?
The new Prime Shotgun is a great addition to the list of items you can find. When fully loaded, the headshot does a lot of damage and gives you more firepower, so if your opponent doesn’t have a max shield, you can kill them in one shot.
The main problem with the Prime Shotgun is that it fires slowly and takes a long time to reload. However, it still takes less time to reload than the Two-Shot and the Auto Shotgun.
As long as you have a fast-firing weapon like an SMG or an Assault Rifle to back you up, the Prime Shotgun might be the best shotgun in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.
