“Officers discovered at least 15 gunshot victims, including 6 who are dead,” Sacramento Police Department reported on its official Twitter account. According to Sacramento police spokesman Sgt. Zach Eaton, the incident occurred around 10th and J Streets. Sacramento police stated, “9th St to 13th St is blocked between L St and J St while officers investigate a gunshot with many victims.”
“At this moment, the conditions are unclear. Please stay away from the area since there will be a significant police presence and the scene will be busy “. It was also noted.
People sprinting down the street were seen in a video released on Twitter, with the sound of rapid gunshots in the background. Multiple ambulances were also seen on the footage being sent to the location.
