Avery runs up to the driver's side of the car in an all-white jogging suit and tries to open the man's car door while smiling and not saying anything.

TMZ says the driver's name is Niku Azam. He slams his door shut and rolls down his window to say that Avery is a "psychopath." Avery then runs around to the front of the car and stands in front of it while Azam honks the horn.

Avery then hits the man's car mirror on the left side and runs away.

The report says that this wasn't the first time the two men had a fight. According to Azam, he mistakenly blocked the road for the ex-New York Ranger back in February, and when he let him pass, Avery repeatedly yelled, "Slow down, you big f-k."

Azam says that Avery remembered him from an event in February, which led to this fight.

In another video that TMZ got, Avery says that he was the victim of the situation. He says that he was hit by the car and that the driver tried to "run him over," even though the first video doesn't show that.

During his time in the NHL, Avery was involved in a number of controversies. One of the most well-known was when he said before a game that it was "common in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds." He was talking about Dion Phaneuf and Jarret Stoll, two NHL players who were dating his ex-girlfriends at the time. He lost six games because of what he said.
