Shadow tracker – Chapter 4, Season 1 of Fortnite, has a lot of amazing weapons to choose from. With the release of the new chapter, Epic Games brought back the SCAR, a well-known weapon, and added a lot of new ones.
Even though the Shockwave Hammer is the most used weapon in the game right now, there is a secret weapon with many cool features. It turns out that the Shadow Tracker can do much more than just mark players trying to kill you.
This Exotic Fortnite weapon is powerful because players can use it to shoot through structures. This article will tell you everything you need to know about the Shadow Tracker, including how to get it and use it to shoot through buildings.

This is the only weapon in Fortnite that can shoot through structures.
Shadow Tracker is one of the few Exotic weapons you can get in Fortnite Battle Royale. This weapon was added to the game in Chapter 2, Season 5, for the first time. It is a particular type of suppressed pistol.
The special thing about this weapon is that it can tag things. If a player hits an enemy with it, that enemy will be marked for a short time. This makes it much easier to see where the enemy is moving for a short time.
As shown in the video above from GKI, the Fortnite weapon in Chapter 4, Season 1, has a special feature. Even though Epic Games hasn’t confirmed it, likely, the Shadow Tracker’s ability to shoot through walls and buildings is just a bug.
The weapon is handy in classic game modes where players can build things. Players can even wholly hide behind a wall while using weapons to hurt their enemies.
In the picture above, a player is entirely hidden by a wall, but they can still hit shots with the Shadow Tracker. This should not be the case at all since buildings should stop bullets.

With any other weapon in Fortnite, players need to hit the cone in front of them. On the other hand, the Shadow Tracker completely ignores this build and hits an enemy hiding behind it.
Since the weapon doesn’t work, Epic Games will likely fix it soon. In the meantime, the game’s maker might turn off the gun so players can’t abuse it.
Where in Fortnite can you buy Shadow Tracker?
For 400 Gold bars, you can buy the weapon from Evie. Evie is at a place called Shore Shack, south of Shattered Slabs. The NPC always appears there, and most of the time, it is in a blue house in the area.
If you don’t have enough Gold bars, doing bounties is the easiest way to get them. Exotic weapons aren’t cheap, but they are well worth the money.
