The Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team made history by winning their first Under-19 cricket World Cup by beating four-time champions India in the final match by three wickets under the Duckworth-Lewis method after the game was reduced to 46 overs due to rain. In a dramatic India vs Bangladesh Under-19 cricket world cup final, Bangladesh held their nerves to chase the target with skipper Akbar Ali playing an unbeaten inning of 43 runs at 77 balls to help them create history. Bangladesh team was 102 for 6 in 23 overs chasing 170.
