Indian security agencies booked 25 Students for waving Pakistani Flag in Kerala College. According to Indian news channel Times Now, 25 students from Perambra Silver College in Kozhikode district Kerala were waving Pakistani Flag inside college campus on Friday. The video published on social media. After that police arrested all 25 students for waving alleged big Pakistani Flag.
These students belong to Muslim Student Front ( MSF). However, the students denied the allegations and told Perambra police that Flag belongs to MSF and they were campaigning for college’s union elections. But The big flag waved in the college campus looks similar to the Pakistani flag.
Indian political leaders and activist took the video on social media and criticized these students for waving Pakistani Flag inside College campus. Canadian writer and Indian Puppet Tarek Fateh posted the video on his Twitter account reporting the incident with a lot of grief. Tarek Fateh wrote, “Muslim students wave a large Pakistani flag as a part of their election campaign in a Kerala college”.
Another Twitter user @Haidarbhaijaano posted the video on and said “Wherever there is oppression & subjugation, the victims look at the Sabz Hilali Percham as their last resort, as their saviour. Members of Muslim Students Front in Silver College, Perambra in Kozhikode district of #Kerala, #India raise Pakistani flag”.
Director-General ISPR Asif Ghafoor never leaves a chance to troll Indians. He also shared the video and quoted it as “Beginning of the End”.
The tension between India and Pakistan is high since the Indian government abrogated Article 35A and Article 370 and revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. In this kind of Atmosphere, waving of Pakistani flag in Kerala College sent another wave of anger in the Indian public (specifically Hindu majority). But this is not the first incident when Pakistan’s flag was waved on the streets of India and inside an educational institute.
