In Season 1, Chapter 4 of Fortnite, The Ageless is a picture of Geno when he was younger. He is also the leader of the Oathbound (likely a precursor of the Imagined Order). Based on his name, he has been around since the beginning. Zero Point pulled his castle, The Citadel, onto the island during Zero Fusion.
In Chapter 4, Season 1, the Ageless is in charge of the island of Asteria, and Omega Knight is his main enemy (based on the voice lines). Donald Mustard says that Reality Unknown is the version of the Imagined Order that came to life first. But the Oathbound and the Imagined Order are very different.
Even though the Imagined Order is the group that came after the Oathbound, their founding ideas couldn’t be more different. As you can see on the map, most of the island is in perfect harmony with itself, which the IO tried repeatedly but never succeeded at.
You could say that this is because Chapter 4 just started, but I think it has more to do with how The Ageless thinks.

In Fortnite Chapter 4, what does The Ageless want?
From what we know about the island’s history, The Ageless wants to keep law and order. Geno ruled by making people afraid. The Ageless, on the other hand, hasn’t shown the same pattern of behaviour yet. In Reality, Unknown he’s probably a “good” snapshot. But his reasons are still not very clear.
The only thing that can be said is that his kingdom has a few “unwanted” parts. Aside from Omega Knight, who openly threatens his rule, others want to get rid of him, like Snowheart, Frozen Red Knight, and maybe even Joni the Red. Even so, Fortnite Chapter 4 has more than just The Ageless.
Several important characters, like Black Knight, Raptorian the Brave, Scrapknight Jules, and Dusty, have sworn their loyalty and allegiance to him. There is another “Oathbound,” but it hasn’t been shown in-game yet. This mysterious person is known only by the name “Rift Warden.”
On that note, it’s important to mention that The Ageless are building Rift Gates on the island. Their role in the story is still unknown, but based on their names, they may have something to do with the Rift Warden. Some people in the community think that this could be a hint at an upcoming project with Stargate.
Will Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 have another all-out battle for control?
Since there is already an enemy on the island where The Ageless takes place, there is a slight chance that war will break out at some point in the story.
The Ageless and other characters like Blue Squire, Black Knight, and Ultima Knight can be seen fighting on the “The Ageless Champion” loading screen.
Since the Battle Bus can be seen in the background, there’s no question that the war is happening right now. It’s possible that this happened at some point in the past. But since Asteria (Chapter 4’s island) just started to form and the Battle Bus can be seen, it’s more likely to be set shortly.
Still, it could also be just key art. Since the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass is the only way to get the Loading Screen. Developers may have given it some extra flair.
In either case, it’s still early in the season, so we don’t know what’s coming. If you know Epic Games, you know there will be some twists and turns.
