Prince William and Kate Middleton (The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge) made a ride on a colourful Rikshaw in Pakistan. The royal couple is on five days official visit of Pakistan. Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made an entry on a tuk-tuk painted in Pakistan’s traditional colours while arriving for an event at Pakistan’s Monument, Islamabad. Watch the video below.

The entry of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was so colourful as Kate Middleton wearing a glittering green dress and Prince William in a traditional Sherwani for the event at Pakistan’s Monument.

Both arrived in Pakistan yesterday night at 9 PM (Pakistan’s standard time) and received a warm welcome on arrival at Islamabad Airport.

Later on today on October 15, 2019, The royal couple met with Prime minister Imran Khan of Pakistan on an official lunch at prime minister house, Islamabad. They both visited Margalla Hills in the morning and made a tour of local primary school.

The event has been organised from Pakistan Cultural association to showcase the best of Pakistani culture. Prince William recognised Pakistan’s hardships in the near past, saying:

“For a country so young, Pakistan has endured many hardships, with countless lives lost to terror and hatred.

Duke said on the event at Pakistan’s Monument.

He added more, saying:

“Tonight I want to pay tribute to all those who have endured such sacrifice and helped to build the country that we see today.”

The reception was hosted by High Commissioner, Thomas Drew. Prominent figures from Pakistan, businessmen, film producers and a bunch of senior government officials were also present at the event.

As Prince William’s visit intends to bring confidence and build stronger trade relationships between Pakistan and the United kingdom, Duke added: Pakistan could rely on Britain as “a key partner and your friend”.

This is the first official royal visit to Pakistan after 13 years since the Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) and Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla) visited the region in 2006.

Pakistani Public which is already a big fan of Late Lady Diana is warmly welcoming the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Trucks and Rickshaws “which usually carry the posters of National Heros” were painted with the posters of Prince William and Kate Middleton even before their arrival in Pakistan.

The hashtag “#RoyalVisitPakistan” is trending on Twitter with more than hundred thousands of Tweets. Even the video of “Prince William and Kate Middleton ridding on the Rickshaw” became viral on social media within a few hours and received more than Ten thousands hearts (Likes) until now.
