The Fortnite Galaxy Cup (2022): start date, how to participate, and more

While the qualifiers for the Fortnite Competitive Series (FNCS) are going on, a new leak has come out that hints at the Fortnite Galaxy Cup 2022. Epic Games is getting ready to hold the next Android-only Mobile Device Gaming Competition. The leak says that the event will happen on July 16 and 17.

Epic has been working with Samsung for the past two years to put on a mobile-only tournament where players compete against each other and show off their skills. The name of the cup comes from the Galaxy, which is one of Samsung’s best-known products. No matter what the name is, the event is open to all Android devices that can play Fortnite.

The contest began in 2020, and it is now in its third round. Samsung gives the winners of the event an exclusive outfit, and other players get a variety of cosmetic items. Soon, the official announcement about the event should go live.

Galaxy Cup 3.0 is going to take place in Fortnite.

Shinna, the most well-known data-miner in the community, recently wrote a tweet about the upcoming Fortnite Galaxy Cup 3.0. The event’s prize package has been shown in other tweets that were relevant to the event. It comes with a new skin called Khari, a pickaxe, back bling, and a spray (graffiti).

    About the Galaxy Cup 3.0

Even though the official rules haven’t been released yet, it seems likely that the event will be run the same way as the last two. The first-ever Arsenal LTM was held at last year’s event. Each player started with the same weapon, which got worse with each elimination. The first person to go from the best weapon to the worst one got a “Victory Royale.”

The Khari skin will go to the best players in each region that is taking part. Other cosmetic items will be given to players who qualify based on the rules that have already been set. These are different in each region. Every player in the event who gets more than 20 points will get a spray.

    About the Galaxy Cup 3.0

Within three hours, players can take part in up to twenty-five matches. Different times will be given in-game soon for each region that is taking part. Players should know that the exclusive skin will be added to the item shop later.

How to take part in the 3.0 Galaxy Cup

    • Anyone who qualifies can play in the event.
    • You have to be at least 13 to play.
    • Players under the age of 18 may have to fill out a consent form that has been signed by a parent or guardian.
    • The event is only for Android devices that can play Fortnite.
    • Two-factor authentication (2FA) must be turned on for the player’s Epic account.

Samsung has worked with Fortnite more than once in the past. Aside from the Galaxy Cup, Samsung also had a brand-exclusive promotion where players who bought a flagship phone got a free exclusive skin. One of the most expensive cosmetic items in the game is still the Galaxy skin.

Players who are interested can check the Epic Games website for news about the event. On the website, you can also find download guides and rules, as well as any other kind of information.
