October 28 is the scheduled date for the new installment of ‘Call of Duty‘ a direct continuation of ‘Modern Warfare‘ in which Infinity Ward is back in front. No doubt, a signal to fans from Activision that it is putting all the meat on the grill in this new sequel. And the original ‘Modern Warfare 2’ from 2009 is one of the most beloved titles in the franchise, so the bar is certainly high.
It is also the first installment that will come out for next-generation consoles (in addition to Xbox One, PS4, and PC), and there is an expectation about whether Infinity Ward will be able to squeeze its possibilities more forcefully than EA’s ‘last battlefield’. At the moment, what we have guaranteed is the return of Task Force 141 from the previous ‘Modern Warfare’, which already ensures that we will have, apart from the essential multiplayer, a campaign that will develop its corresponding story. The one of 2019 surprised us with its conciseness and the forceful and direct of its argument.
In the trailer, completely cinematic and without sequences of the real game we can see action between several members of the same squad, faithful to the slogan of this new installment “the ultimate weapon is the team”. Experienced players already stand out from what this trailer shows, where it seems to detect an improvement in the available movements, such as hanging from a ledge.
There also seem to be improvements in the physics of the water, which will condition the speed of the bullets and the concealment of the enemy. The trailer also puts an emphasis on vehicles, of which a good amount is expected in both the campaign and multiplayer.
