Fortnite Battle Royale has finally added the Veronika skin. This cosmetic item was added to the game on August 30 with the v21.50 update. It’s the first Starter Pack in Chapter 3 Season 4 and came with the v21.50 update.
This skin for Fortnite is unique because Veronika is wearing a shirt that says “Dead Game.” For people who aren’t in the know, this is Epic Games’ way of making fun of people who say that Fortnite is dead.
The new piece of cosmetics looks great and comes with a lot of extras. Unfortunately, you can’t buy the Veronika skin with V-Bucks, and you’ll only be able to use it for a short time.
This article will tell you how to get the Fortnite Veronika skin and all of her accessories, as well as anything else you need to know about it.

A new Starter Pack comes with the Veronika skin for Fortnite.
The Fortnite Item Shop is where you can buy the Veronika skin. However, you can’t buy this skin with V-Bucks like you can with other items. Instead, you will have to do a transaction with real money.
Checkered Past is the name of the Starter Pack, which costs $3.99. Here’s everything that comes in the new pack:
- 600 V-Bucks
- Veronika skin
- Good Ol’ Pete got his bling back
- Pickaxe Thudthumper
- Checks and scuffs cover
Open the Item Shop and scroll down until you see the Checkered Past pack. This is how you get the new skin. Then open the pack and keep holding the buy button to get it.
Keep in mind that this is a real-money purchase, so you will need to pay for the new pack with a credit or debit card, PayPal, or some other method.
Once the payment is processed, which is usually right away, 600 V-Bucks and four new cosmetic items will appear in your Locker. Given how much V-Bucks cost, anyone who needs the premium currency should buy the Checkered Past pack.

Since the new Starter Pack came out on Monday, September 26, many players will be wearing the Veronika skin in the next few weeks. The skin makes a funny reference to Fortnite being a “dead game,” which makes it very popular.
But it’s important to know that the pack will eventually leave the Item Shop and never come back. Starter Packs are unique and can only be bought for a limited time. They are not like any other cosmetic item in the shop.
Players should also know that they can’t get their money back for Starter Packs. They can’t be refunded with either “Lifetime Tickets” or “Cancel Purchase.” But if you play on a gaming console, you can get a refund through the platform where you bought it. This is a complicated process, though.
Before you buy something, you can look at it and see what it looks like. But you won’t be able to get your money back after you buy them.
