On the weekend, Steeman and some other riders crashed during a Supersport 300 race at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal. After the crash, a medical team helped him on the track, and he was taken to a nearby hospital.

Who is Victor Steeman?
Steeman’s first ride in World Supersport 300 was as a replacement rider in 2018. In 2019, he was a full-time rider for the first time. He won two pole positions and finished fifth in the standings.
After a year away from the series, he returned in 2021 and won his first race at Most. He finished 10th in the championship that year.
When he switched from KTM to Kawasaki in 2022, he became a contender for the championship. He won at Assen, Most, Magny-Cours, and Barcelona. Which was enough to make him the runner-up in the tournament after his death, behind Alvaro Diaz.

Victor Steeman Death – The FIM, in charge of motorcycle racing, said on Tuesday night that the Dutch rider had died from head injuries in an accident with other riders at Turn 14 during Saturday’s first race at the Portuguese track.
The crash immediately stopped the race, which pushed back the rest of the day’s plans and cut the number of laps in the first World Superbike race of the weekend from 20 to 14.
Steeman riding an MTM Kawasaki. He was taken to the medical center and then flown by helicopter to a hospital in the nearby city of Faro, where he died a few days later.
