“The turn of events that occurred during this weekend’s basketball game at our facilities are extremely tragic. Despite the fact that we cannot control people, we hope and pray that all who enter our facilities conduct themselves in the greatest possible manner.
Ex-basketball player and current youth development coach Parris Cherry stated he was disgusted by what he saw.

Cherry observed, “The referee appears to be outnumbered from the start.” Were you appalled too? It was an extremely unnerving clip. In the end, the youngsters tracked down the referee because they were the ones who had started the fight. Adults didn’t seem to be trying to break it up, either.”

WITNESS OF INCIDENT:

Witnesses claim that the event occurred during an amateur basketball game.

According to an AAU spokesperson in Washington, the game was not sanctioned and that the organisation had nothing to do with it or with the violence that took place on court during it.

We are still trying to get an update on the referee’s status and find out if any of the adults or children involved will be charged.
