Queen And Paddington Video -Explained
Over the weekend, the Queen met Paddington Bear in a heartwarming sketch in which the famous bear came to see Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace.
The full video was shown for the first time on Saturday night, before the Platinum Party at the Palace. People were thrilled to see the Queen tapping on her tea cup to Queen’s “We Will Rock You.”
In the sketch, Paddington was so careless that he drank all of the Queen’s tea and then dropped a dessert on the table.
Paddington Bear apologizes to the Queen by giving her one of his famous marmalade sandwiches. He tells her that he always keeps an extra one in his hat.
The Queen then says that she, too, always has a marmalade sandwich with her but that she keeps hers in her handbag.
She tells Paddington that the sandwich is “for later,” and then a butler tells them that the Platinum Party is about to start at the Palace.
Paddington then turns to the Queen and says in a kind voice, “Happy Jubilee, Ma’am, and thank you…for everything.” The Queen says, “That’s very kind.”
As drummers start playing the tune of “We Will Rock You,” the video shows the Queen and Paddington drumming along with their tea cups and spoons.
