Wesley went to Tunstall High School and just got his Associate’s Degree from Danville Community College. He was a deeply religious Baptist who went to Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Wesley did work for Ramsey Restoration, Michelle Bowers’ Old House Life, and the Old West End Project in downtown Danville. He was excited about the idea of learning how to fix up old houses, and he loved every job he did. Wesley liked spending time with his friends and family, fixing up his truck, and collecting sneakers.
Wesley is survived by his parents, Randy and Wende Honeycutt; his sisters, Britni and Tessa Honeycutt; grandmothers, Elizabeth Scearce and Harriet Jennings; his uncle, John Eddie Jennings III; Wesley aunts, Tina Brickhouse (Dudley) of Texas, Gwen Smothers (Vic) of North Carolina, and Angela Chang (David) of North Carolina; and many cousins.
Wesley was born after his grandfathers, BG Grover (Gene) Scearce, John Edward Jennings Jr., and Glenn Morgan, as well as his grandmother, Jackie Morgan.
On Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m., people will be able to visit Woodlawn Baptist Church. At 11 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, there will be a funeral at Woodlawn. A funeral service will be held at the Scearce Family Cemetery on Pine Lake Road in Danville, Virginia, after the service. At other times, people can visit the family at 2141 River Ridge Road, Danville, VA 24541. Instead of flowers, you can give money to the Woodlawn Baptist Church.

As a student at Tunstall High School, Wesley earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from Danville Community College in May of this year. Woodlawn Baptist Church was Wesley’s place of worship. As part of the Old West End Project in downtown Danville, Wesley worked with Ramsey Restoration and Michelle Bowers’ Old House Life. When Wesley started working on historic house restorations, he was determined to learn everything he could about the process. Friends and family were Wesley’s favorite pastimes, as well as altering his truck.
