During Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival, at least eight people were pronounced dead and more injured after a crowd rushed the stage and caused havoc.
While the 29-year-old “Sicko Mode” rapper, Travis Scott, performed in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 5, the crowd surged forward and caused a mass accident.

A man identified as Daniel Vargas is currently facing criticism and massive backlash after a video of him, which shows him dancing on the top of an emergency vehicle during the Astroworld Festival incident, went viral. Daniel Vargas was using Twitter and Instagram with the username “Itzlune_” but now he has deactivated his both social media accounts.
However, the video of him, and the Screenshots of his tweets and Instagram posts are circulating on social media and people are demanding Houston police arrest him and hold him responsible for the deaths of those who were killed during the Astroworld Festival incident.
The viral video shows Daniel Vargas along with another man dancing on the top of a rescue vehicle while it struggles to make its way to the incident scene. Watch the video below.
The caption of the video reads: “People were really jumping on the cars of security personnel when they were trying to get to unconscious people in the crowd. This shit is disgusting. Look at these weirdos. #ASTROWORLDFest.”

People are outraged over Daniel Vargas’ actions and social media posts
Since the video of Daniel Vargas emerged on social media, thousands of people are reacting with anger and demanding his arrest by the police.
While sharing the screenshot from the video, One person wrote on Twitter: “People of Houston! Who are these men?? They need to be held responsible for impeding & dancing on top of an emergency vehicle that was en route to help dying & injured #ASTROWORLD concert goers!RETWEET THIS so they will be found! #ASTROWORLDFest @houstonpolice.”
One Twitter user shared the screenshot of Daniel’s Instagram post and wrote: “The guy literally doesn’t care that what he did was wrong.”
Another Twitter user, who has identified him on Instagram and Twitter, wrote: “His name is Daniel Vargas, Bronx NY. His @ is itzlune_ on IG. He is laughing about it on Instagram about the people dying. He is a father as well.”

According to some old records, Daniel Vargas has a criminal record and he was previously arrested March 26 and charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree larceny.
According to reports he is on $50,000 bail.
