The reason Fortnite’s Fishstick can’t use the Stormbreaker

The Stormbreaker is also made from the enchanted Uru, just like Thor’s Mjolnir. The Stormbreaker is just like Mjolnir in that it can’t be used by someone who isn’t worthy. Even though Thor’s history doesn’t say that Stormbreaker is only for the worthy, it continues to go against that.

The reason Fortnite's Fishstick can't use the Stormbreaker

The community as a whole has come to the conclusion that the feature is Marvel’s way of keeping people interested and getting them to buy the new bundle. While most people agree with the above reason, there are some who think that Fishstick was using Thor’s powers during the LTM.

Even though people have different ideas about Fishtick’s ability, everyone agrees that every pickaxe should be traversal and that items shouldn’t be limited to a certain character. A response from Reddit user u/Untestedmight gave a new way to look at the situation among all the other answers that were too similar.

The user said that even though the Stormbreaker isn’t tied to Mjolnir’s parameters, it still belongs to a Norse god, so it takes a strong mind and body to handle the power of the weapon, which is usually used to kill enemies.

Epic Games moved quickly to get the situation under control after the chaos in the community. Because of the backlash, the developers took the worthiness clause out of the pickaxe and made it a traversal tool instead. Now, any Fortnite character can use the Stormbreaker, but Mjolnir is still immune to this change.
