The Redmi Note 9 is Xiaomi’s new mid-range phone, the most modest within the Redmi Note range presented so far.
The Redmi Note range continues to grow with new phones. Until now, the brand has left us with the Note 9 Pro and 9 Pro Max, the most powerful in the range, and also with the Note 9S. After weeks of rumors about it, Xiaomi finally confirmed that its new phone within this range was going to be presented today. The Redmi Note 9 has already become official.
The Redmi Note 9 is the little brother of models like the Note 9S or the Note 9 Pro. In fact, its design is quite similar to that of the Note 9S that we already met months ago. As for its specifications, it is presented as the most modest so far in this range of phones, with specifications that are partly reminiscent of the rest, but somewhat cut.
A very balanced mid-range
The design is identical to what we have seen in the other models of this family, with a perforated screen, only in this case said perforation is located in one of the corners and not in the center as in the other phones. On the back of the phone, four cameras and a fingerprint sensor await us. The cameras arrive in a module like the one we saw in the Note 9S.
As we have mentioned, on its rear we have four cameras, with a 48 Mpx main sensor, an 8 Mpx ultra-wide-angle, a 2 Mpx macro sensor, and a 2 Mpx depth sensor. The front camera of this Redmi Note 9 is 13 Mpx, located in said perforation on the phone screen.
The battery of the Redmi Note 9 has a capacity of 5,020 mAh, a good size for a model within this segment, so a good autonomy can be expected from it. It also has support for 18W fast charging. The chosen processor in the phone is the MediaTek G85, an improved version of the Mediatek Helio G80.
