Since Fortnitemares 2022, zombie chickens have been free to roam the island. Zombie chickens are not like normal chickens, which are cute and cluck to the tune of Ride of the Valkyries. Instead, zombie chickens tend to be aggressive.
Still, the developers of Fortnite have decided to test players’ XP by making them fly with a zombie chicken. People who finish the challenge will get 15,000 XP.

A step-by-step guide to finding a zombie chicken in Fortnite and flying with it.
1) Set down at Reality Roots or Overtaken Outpost, both east of Greasy Grove.
There are plenty of zombie chickens on the island, but they don’t appear everywhere. Since they are made of living things, they tend to move around parts of the island that Chrome hasn’t eaten. The decaying reality biome is one of these places.
In the southern part of this area, six zombie chickens spawn along the river that separates the reality biome from the desert. Since these places aren’t useful for strategy, few people land here. Because of this, it is the safest place on the map to finish this challenge.
2) Find or let a zombie chicken find you.
Finding a zombie chicken is the next step in this challenge. Before starting this task, you should get some healing items. Since zombie chickens will attack as soon as they see you, it’s not in your best interest to get hurt by them.
Those who have the sound visualization option turned on, on the other hand, will be able to find any zombie chickens in the area. But be careful because they are also quick and sneaky. If you’re not careful, a zombie chicken will see you before you find them.
3) Avoid its first move and grab it (or grab it before it can attack)
As soon as you see a zombie chicken, you’ll have to move quickly to grab it. If you can’t finish this task in the first few seconds of the fight, you will be attacked and take damage.
You can also move out of the way of the attack and grab the zombie chicken before it can attack again. Be careful because they tend to move in groups (like zombies). There will probably be more than one nearby. Once the zombie chicken is caught, it’s best to move away from the area.
4) Fly 75 meters with the zombie chicken in your hands.
Once you have the zombie chicken, you can do the last part of the challenge. You must keep the zombie chicken in your hands and fly 75 meters. All you have to do to do this is move forward and jump.
If you have the zombie chicken, you can fly and stay in the air every time you jump. Since zombie chickens make you less likely to hurt yourself when you fall in Fortnite, this can also be done from high up. Once you’ve moved 75 meters, you’ll get 15,000 XP.
