Black Adam is the next DCU character to work with Fortnite. This has been confirmed. Even though the trailer came out of nowhere, Dwayne Johnson had been giving hints about it for months. Since the actor plays The Foundation in the game, there was no doubt they would work together again.
Even so, Epic Games hasn’t shown anything interesting in this crossover so far. Based on what Dwayne Johnson wrote on social media, the full reveal will happen on October 12, 2022, at 6:30 pm ET.

Black Adam will make a difference in Fortnite.
Since Black Adam is coming out in theaters on October 21, 2022, it makes sense for Epic Games to put him in Fortnite a day early. This is a lot like how DCU and MCU work together in general. It has been done this way for several seasons.
On October 20, 2022, at 8:00 pm ET, the cosmetics will be for sale in the item shop. Even though the set/price bundles are unknown, players can expect to pay more than 2,000 V-Bucks for everything. This will include the Outfit, the Harvesting Tool, the Back Glitter, and the Emote.
From what I can tell, Black Adam will have two looks in the game, one with a hood and one without. Also, the lightning bolt on his chest looks like it responds to things. His Back Bling is the same. This could be very likely, given how many cosmetics in Fortnite react to things like being eliminated.
Black Adam’s Harvesting Tool looks a lot like Hawkman’s Mace, but it also has some ability to make it stronger. Maybe his power is moving through the mace, making it crackle with electricity. The item may only be available to Black Adam if this is true. We hope that this doesn’t happen.
So, the full reveal will happen in a few hours, and it will likely include a more extended version of the teaser and more information about the cosmetic items. What Epic Games and DCU have planned for the character in the game is anyone’s guess.

Will Black Adam have a part to play in the story of Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4?
Even though it would be interesting for Black Adam to be a part of the main plot, it’s unlikely that this is how things will go.
Since only characters from the Seasonal Battle Pass appear on the island and in story teasers and trailers, Black Adam will stay a cosmetic only.
Even so, it’s important to note that Black Adam can be seen sitting on a throne in one of the temple landmarks/POIs. This could signify that he won’t be necessary for a while and will be an NPC. Still, this is all just guesswork and wishful thinking.
On the other hand, Black Adam sitting on a throne might be his emote’s animation. Comparing it to the icon, it looks the same. Fans won’t have a clearer picture until the full reveal.
