British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Christian Turner endorsed prime minister Imran Khan’s appeal to the international community for debt relief to developing countries.
Earlier on April 12, 2020, Prime minister Imran Khan of Pakistan has appealed to the international community and financial institutions to provide debt relief for developing countries.
PM Khan raised the point that developing countries are facing the even bigger problem of fighting against hunger during this global COVID-19 Pandemic.
“In order to help underdeveloped countries fight against Coronavirus epidemic and the hunger, Developed countries and international financial institutions should step forward and provide debt relief, Imran Khan added.”
