Eminem may be in Fortnite Battle Royale very soon. He is one of the most well-known rappers, and Epic Games recently teased that he would be joining the game.
Fortnite is more than just a video game. It has become a huge platform where brands, artists, celebrities, and more can connect. Adding the well-known rapper to the title of the battle royale game makes a lot of sense since many players are familiar with him. Epic Games has worked with rappers, so this wouldn’t be the first time.
Marshall Matters has been making music for over 30 years and has fans worldwide. Many Fortnite players know him and his music, so adding him to the game would be great.
Epic Games teased that Eminem and Fortnite would work together.
Epic Games decided in Chapter 2 to add cars to Fortnite Battle Royale. The game’s creators eventually added radio stations so players could listen to their favourite songs as they drove around the island.
Epic has added Eminem and other popular artists and songs to their radio stations. But on August 13, only the 49-year-old rapper was played on Fortnite’s ICONs radio.
The well-known musician took over the radio station and played his songs for about an hour. Most of the time, songs are put in random order when they are played. Saturday night, though, was all about Eminem.
During his takeover, these songs were played on the radio:
- Godzilla (ft. Juice WRLD)
- Headlights (ft. Nate Russ)
- Not Afraid
- Lighters (ft. Bruno Mars)
- Monster (ft. Rihanna)
- Walk on Water (ft. Beyoncé)
Many of these songs are well-known, and many Fortnite players know them. Slim Shady’s new album, Curtain Call 2, came out recently. It has some of his most popular songs to date.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Fortnite Battle Royale had another big concert. Marshmellow, Travis Scott, and Ariana Grande had great concerts in the game, so that Eminem could be next.
Will there be a skin for Eminem soon?
If Epic Games decides to work with the famous rapper in a big way, his skin could come out soon. But it’s important to remember that there are no encrypted skins in the game data right now. Epic will have to release another major update before the famous artist’s skin can be available.
The good news is that v21.40 will be updated on Tuesday, August 16. The update is expected to be the biggest of Chapter 3, Season 3, since it will bring many big changes and collaboration with Dragon Ball.
If the next update gives Mathers his skin, there’s no doubt the last month of this season of Fortnite Battle Royale will be even better.
