In Chapter 3, Season 4 of Fortnite, the Reality tree might come back to life. The Tree was very important last season, but it doesn’t look like its story is over yet.
The theory says that the Herald is paying close attention to the Tree. Even though the mysterious creature is at Herald’s Sanctum, which is on the island’s eastern side, it seems to be in charge of Fortnite’s Reality Tree.
Epic Games made several changes to the game’s map with the v22.10 update, which came out on Tuesday, October 4. The Reality Tree has changed because of these changes and will likely play a big part in the story again.

The Reality Tree in Fortnite is always changing.
As soon as Chapter 3, Season 4 came out. Many players thought that Epic Games would take the Reality Tree out of the game since it was so important to the story of Season 3.
Even though Epic Games brought the Tree back, it looks very different from how it looked. At the beginning of the season, it looked like the Reality Tree was dying, but that has changed.
The popular Tree seems to be in its second phase now that the map has been changed. At the moment, there are even more Chrome hexagons around it, which is likely a sign that Chrome will soon take it over.
The picture above shows that Chrome is taking over the Tree. It is slowly getting bigger, and it won’t be long before this process is done.
The Herald lives in a Chrome fortress and seems to be in charge of Chrome. She is the main bad guy of the current Fortnite season. It looks like she took the Reality Tree with her to the last season, too, because she was looking at it.

What will happen to the Tree?
Based on leaks about Fortnite, Reality Tree will have a few more stages. The next part of its change could come out as soon as this week.
When Chapter 3, Season 4 was just announced, some leakers shared a strange picture of the Reality Tree (shown above). They thought this was how the Tree would look in the current season, but they were wrong. But that wasn’t what happened.
The picture above shows how the Tree might look in the future. It will probably be another power source for the Herald and the Nothing. Chrome hexagons surround it.
In addition to the Tree, Chrome hexagons are popping up all over the map. They will likely be a big part of the next live event.
