She also released three solo albums between 1998 and 2003, followed by mixtapes. More recently, she has been on albums by Run the Jewels, clipping., Junglepussy, Blood Orange, and others.
Who is Gangsta Boo?
Lola Chantrelle Mitchell was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on August 7, 1979. She died on January 1, 2023, and was better known by her stage name, Gangsta Boo. She was the second woman to join the Memphis-based hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia.
The first was K-9. She left the group and was labeled sometime in 2002, a few months after her second album, Both Worlds *69, came out. This was because of problems with money and how to promote her album.
After that, she put out mixtapes with artists like La Chat and Yelawolf and some music by herself. Clipping. And Run the Jewels both put her on their albums. People have said she was one of the first women to make rap music.

Gangsta Boo was Found Dead at the age of 43
HipHopDX has confirmed that Gangsta Boo, one of the first rappers from Memphis and a former member of Three 6 Mafia, died at 43.
Fox 13 Memphis says that the rapper, whose real name was Lola Mitchell, was found dead around 4:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, January 1, in Memphis, where she was born and raised. No cause of death has been found yet.
As word spread on social media that the Queen of Memphis had died, DJ Paul posted a picture of his former Three 6 Mafia bandmate. Many people took this as proof that she had died.
